Check out what’s going on at the library: Spring 2026

From sewing and embroidery to restarting children’s storytime and scavenger hunts, there’s plenty going on at the Shepherd Park Library! Check out some highlights of current programming that the Friends of the Library has supported, compiled by Branch Manager Sharrese Castillo.

Upcoming events in March 2026:

Children’s Programming:

  • Women’s History Month Scavenger Hunt! – Hunt for twelve notable women at SPK library and win a prize. (Ongoing for the month of March)
  • March 24, March 31: Baby Lap Time – Spring Session – A program for our prewalkers and their caregivers.
  • March 25: Toddler Storytime – Spring Session – Enjoy Stories and Songs in this Toddler storytime!
  • March 26: Messy Art! – Spring Session – Come enjoy some painting and don’t mind the mess!

Adult Programming:

  • March 24: Adult resume writing – Craft a resume that gets you noticed.
  • March 25: Adult learn to sew – Creating with Henson Arts
  • March 17: Adult create with Canva.
  • March 21: Mind, body, and soul series – the mind.
